This Digital Moisture Meter is designed and constructed for testing soil moisture. This meter is very easy to use. Simply press the power button and insert the probe into the soil of your plant. The meter will directly show the digital soil moisture reading between 1,0 (very dry) and 9,9 (very wet).
The batteries are included, comes with a special cleaning pad to be used between each test as well.

Monitoring a plant’s soil moisture level helps prevent over and / or under watering. The numbers of this moisture indicator differs from 1.0 to 9.9 signify increasing wetness and plants cannot tolerate either extreme for long. The optimal soil moisture levels of your plants are listed alphabetically by their popular names in the plants table provided. Most plants are fine with a moisture level between 4.0 and 7.0
