6-in-1 Digital tester for soil and liquids – pH, EC, light, moisture, fertiliser and temperature

Features:

• The 6-in-1 tester can measure in soil, but also in liquids ! This multifunctional meter can measure pH, EC value (conductivity), moisture content, fertiliser level, light intensity (sunlight only) and temperature. This gives you full insight into your plants’ growing conditions. All the factors that are important for a plant united in one meter. We can’t make it any easier.
• With a large backlit display, measurements are clear to read regardless of light conditions. The display can be tilted 45 degrees, which facilitates reading from different angles and increases ease of use.
• The portable and durable design of this soil tester, with a specially thickened 13 mm electrode (its length is 20 cm) and made of composite material not only offers high accuracy, but is also very sturdy and resistant to breakage. This makes the meter ideal for use under various conditions. The meter is powered by four AAA 1.5V batteries (included) with a long service life.
• In addition, the meter is suitable for measuring nutrients (EC) and pH in hydroponics, for example. But there are many more applications such as drinking water, well water, rainwater, water from a spring, and natural water such as ditches, ponds and rivers.
• With the pH calibration powders and EC calibration fluid supplied, you can maintain measurement accuracy by calibrating from time to time. Calibration is very user-friendly.

Using the meter and some tips:

• Turn on the meter and place the meter vertically at least 8 cm into the soil or liquid. You can now read all the individual parameters at once. Take at least 2 measurements close together to see if both measurements show approximately the same result. If this is not the case, take another measurement at approximately the same spot.
• To measure pH and fertiliser levels reliably, the soil must be well wet. Measure outside preferably after a rain shower and give potted plants plenty of water first and then start measuring after 15-30 min.
• Always measure in free soil without obstacles like twigs, roots, stones, etc. and never use a lot of force to push or pull the meter into the soil. If the soil is very firm, loosen it with a shovel before measuring.
• If you want to store the measured values (temporarily), press the ‘Hold’ button.
• After use, rinse the meter under the tap and then dry the probe with the cloth provided.

Calibration:

The meter is already factory calibrated and ready for immediate use. In the package you will find to calibrate:

• PH buffer powder: pH 7.00/pH4.00/pH10.01
• EC buffer liquid: 1413 s/cm calibration solution

With normal use, we recommend an EC calibration once a year and also a pH calibration once a year. The calibration procedures are simply and clearly described in the user manual
