This soil temperature sensor gives you instant insight into the temperature of your soil and works perfectly with the included WiFi gateway. Ideal for use in the garden, greenhouse or agriculture, so you always know whether your plants are growing in the right conditions. You can also use the sensor on its own thanks to the built-in LCD screen.

The stainless steel probe measures accurately in the soil. In addition, the sensor automatically sends new readings every 77 seconds, so you always have up-to-date information. That means you no longer have to check yourself — the data comes to you.

Is the WiFi gateway included? Yes. This product comes with the Ecowitt WiFi gateway, so you are ready to go straight away.

Can I connect multiple sensors? Yes. The gateway supports multiple sensors at the same time. Additional sensors are also available separately in our webshop.

Does the sensor work without a gateway? Yes. Thanks to the built-in LCD screen you can also use the sensor on its own, without a gateway or smartphone.

How far is the wireless range? Up to 100 metres in open space between sensor and gateway. This makes the sensor suitable for larger gardens and greenhouses too.

Can the sensor be used in the rain? Yes. Thanks to the IP65 certification the sensor is fully water resistant and suitable for long-term outdoor use in all weather conditions.
